Pace, Pause & Emphasis

“People tell me I talk too fast, and slowing down makes me sound bored.”

Control the speed of speech with pauses rather than drag, and choose the one word per line that carries the meaning.

What you will be able to do

  1. Hear your own pace and change it on purpose

  2. Use silence to let a point land

  3. Mark a script so the emphasis is decided before you stand up

The running order

Take the units in this order. Each lesson is short enough to watch, practise and record in one sitting.
