Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you buy a course or a bundle on dqatraining.co.uk. Please read them before you pay; you may want to save or print a copy.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The website and the courses are provided by:
DQA TRAINING LTD, a private limited company registered in England and WalesCompany number 15723822 (Companies House)
Registered office: 6 Deansfield Close, Brewood, Stafford ST19 9HS, England
Email: hello@dqatraining.co.uk
Website: dqatraining.co.uk
In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean DQA TRAINING LTD; "you" means the person buying. The courses are sold to consumers and to businesses; where a right below is given by consumer law, it applies only if you buy as a consumer.
2. What we sell
We sell recorded, self-paced video courses on the speaking voice and presenting, and bundles of several courses at one price. Every course is digital content streamed online: you watch the lessons in a browser on any device with an internet connection. Lessons are not downloadable files.
- After payment we email your access details within one working day.
- Each course stays open for 18 months from the day we send your access. A bundle gives the same access to every course in it.
- The course pages describe the units, the number of lessons and the total running time. What you receive matches that description.
The courses are recorded. They do not include live tutoring, one-to-one sessions or feedback on your own practice recordings. They are not a regulated or accredited qualification.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) next to each course and bundle, and the total in your cart is the price you are asked to pay for the items. If a price on the site is obviously wrong because of an error, we will tell you before access is sent and you may cancel for a full refund.
4. Ordering and payment
You choose courses, enter your details on our checkout page and are then taken to the secure payment page of our payment provider. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
Our payment provider acts as the merchant of record for the payment transaction: it processes the payment and calculates and collects any sales tax that applies in the buyer's country. Where tax applies, it is shown on the payment page before you confirm.
Paying in another currency. The payment page may offer to show the amount in your own currency. If you choose that, a currency conversion fee is included in the converted amount. Paying in GBP avoids that fee; your card issuer may still apply its own charges.
The contract is formed when the payment succeeds and you see your order page. Each order has a personal order page at /order/<your order code>, which we link from the confirmation.
5. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days from the day the contract is formed to cancel without giving a reason.
For digital content that is supplied straight away, that right ends once supply has begun, but only if you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel. At checkout we ask you to tick a box to do both. If you do not tick it, we cannot start your order.
In practice this means:
- Before your access is sent you can still withdraw. Use the withdrawal button on your order page, or email hello@dqatraining.co.uk with your order reference. A simple statement that you want to cancel is enough.
- Once access has been sent the right to cancel no longer applies to the courses in that order. Your rights under section 8 (faulty content) still apply.
6. Refunds
If you withdraw in time, we refund the full amount you paid within 14 days of receiving your request, to the same payment method you used. We do not charge a fee for the refund. If you paid in another currency, the amount returned in that currency may differ slightly because of exchange rates on the day.
7. Your licence and your account
Buying a course gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to watch it for your own learning during the access period. You may not:
- share your login or access link, or let other people watch on your access;
- record, download, copy, re-upload or redistribute any lesson, in whole or in part;
- show the courses to a group or use them to run paid training of your own.
The courses, scripts and materials are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. If we see clear signs of sharing or copying, we may suspend the access concerned after telling you why.
If you buy for an organisation and want several people to take a course, please write to us before buying.
8. If something is wrong with a course
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a lesson does not play, a course is missing material, or something does not match its description, tell us. We will fix or replace it within a reasonable time; if we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund, which may be up to the full price. Nothing in these terms affects these statutory rights.
9. Voice and health
The courses teach speaking and presenting technique. They are not medical advice, speech and language therapy or treatment for voice disorders, stammering, anxiety or any other condition. Stop an exercise if it causes pain. If you have hoarseness lasting more than three weeks, pain when speaking or a voice that keeps failing, see a GP or a speech and language therapist.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the courses available at all times during your access period, but short interruptions for maintenance or for reasons outside our control can happen. If access is unavailable for a long period, we will extend your access period by at least the same time. We may improve or re-film lessons; we will not remove material in a way that makes a course you bought significantly different from its description.
11. Our liability
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, nor, if you buy as a business, for loss of profit, business or opportunity.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation.
Outcomes depend on your own practice; we do not promise any particular result in a job interview, a pitch or a talk.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the law changes. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you paid.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy, please email hello@dqatraining.co.uk or write to us in the chat on any page, with your order reference. We aim to reply within five working days and try to resolve every complaint directly.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep any mandatory protection given by the law of the country where you live.
